T.G.I.F. Dinner - 9/25??

What's everyone up to?

I'm testing a cookbook for another forum, Chocolate Holidays by Allice Medrich - before Oct. 5th ( Yikes!). So, for brunch we're having Chocolate Blini with Berry Caviar (put a bottle of champagne in the frige last night...just for ambience, you know )

Mid-morning I'm making a couple more from the book - and I've warned the neighbors what will be coming! Going to have to be an easy/fast dinner, that's for sure.

Ambience is very important.
I've got some poblanos that I'll stuff, and some leftover smoked brisket we'll have on buns.

I'm going to throw some sausage and corn on the cob in with these....



Then I'll add a little Old Bay, whip up some cocktail sauce and call it dinner!

William saw a Food Network show last weekend where they deep fried some heads, and I found a blogger who shared some deep fried whole. He's been dying to try a few that way! The rest of the 5 pounds (straight off the boat this afternoon) will be all peel and eat! Easy!
