  Re: (...)
I'm hoping someone can help me find a lemonade recipe...I've searched and searched and cannot find it! so frustrating! It's either a C@H recipe or I got it here on the boards....I think it used lemon juice, simple syrup, vodka (??) and sparkling water (??). Does that sounds familiar to anyone? Help!

Cis posted one a while back, but I don't remember the sparkling water. I'll see if I can find it.

Should have known...it was Denise, the jello shooter queen...LOL!!!

Here's the thread with her recipe: Lemonade

Here's the way I do it:
  1. Mix 3/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a microwave-safe cup.
  2. Microwave the mixture for about 40 seconds.
  3. Stir to dissolve the sugar (the heat helps make it so ALL the sugar can dissolve).
  4. Transfer mixture to a pitcher.
  5. Add 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  6. Add water to bring total volume to 6 cups (1 1/2 quarts).
  7. Make this the night before, and put it into the refrigerator so it will be good and cold, the next day, without having to dilute it with ice cubes.

I just made 4 gallons of lemonade

1 cup fresh sqeezed lemon juice
5 cups water
1 cup sugar (I use just under 1 cup as I like a bit more tang)
Stir, pour over ice and enjoy

Now with a litle "something, something" -

1 big glass filled with ice
2 jiggers lemon vodka
top with the fresh lemonade

Now Enjoy!
