Cast Iron anyone?
#11
  Re: (...)
I have some old cast iron that just needs to be scrubbed up, I know there are a couple of skillets and a muffin pan. If anyone is interested I will check them out tomorrow and see what all is there.
Don't wait too long to tell someone you love them.

I had one, but it was rather thin and I didn't like it. I have 6 5/8", 9", a Dutch Oven lid (about a 4 or 5 qt), a muffin pan. That's all I have. I'll look down at the second hand store if you like to see if they have one.

Why not. I remember, across the hall from our high-school electronics classroom, the girls in the home-ec class often made cast-iron muffins. ;-)
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?

If anyone has a Old Time Pottery store near them, they carry a large amount of Lodge Cast Iron cookware for a good price.
Also, Walmart has been carrying the Lodge Cast Iron Enamled 6 quart Dutch Oven, price was $50 when I purchased mine, but yesterday I had seen they went up 15 dollars.
They are a great investment, and much cheaper than the $100-$250 range most 6 quart Dutch Ovens are sold for.
I have a 7 quart reg. cast iron Dutch oven, but because of the metal it's best not to use anything acidic in them.
Many hardware stores carry cast iron at a good price. There's one in a town near me, carries cast iron sausage grinders, and many other items.

I still have a lid for a 10" pan for free, if anyone is interested. You just pay shipping and it's yours!
