May B'day Dinners??
#11
  Re: (...)
No more April people have spoken up and c'mon, we can only wait so long, I'm thinkin' - so shall we move on to May? And anyone who wants to play, let's get our bid in so we can all have fun with this.

Will this work - if we don't have too fancy selections???

week of 4/20 --> 4/27 (Review day) Buzzard767 (b'day 5/4)

week of 4/27 --> 5/4 (review day) Maryann (b'day 5/25)

week of 5/4 --> 5/11 (review day) Chrismar (has she ever come back? 5/7)

week of 5/11 --> 5/18 (review day) PJ (b'day 5/23)

week of 5/18 --> 5/25 (review day) Barbarainnc (b'day 5/28)

week of 5/25 --> 6/1 (review day) Jean (b'day 5/28)

does this work for all these Geminis??

Grilled Portobello Quesadilla
(Cuisine, August 1998, Issue 10, p. 15)

Peanut Bars

Simple is good, Jean, I think I may just do an app or two. Mine's the 23rd so that works!

Oh, look at all the great minds that were born in May

I love your dinner suggestion Jean! Simple sounds great to me! And grilling sounds even better! Now to do that Mystery Box dinner...still no rhubarb! Dang...must rethink the menu...Shoot!

I can't get to the mystery dinner myself until at least Wednesday or Thursday.

As for my birthday dinner, can I switch with somebody? I'm leaving on a cruise May 10, so can't review May 11, unless I email it to someone and they post it for me.

I do think you came up with a great plan, Jean.

You're giving up your B'day dinner review for a cruise???? Well!

How does the above look for you, Maryann?
And where might you be cruising?

If those who want to be a part of the b'day dinner thingee would just go ahead and post their recipes, we can work them in where/when we can for May. Does that sound o.k. to all - we don't know if Buzzard767, Chrismar, or Barbarainnc will even show up to see this.

So, Maryann and PJ, shall we just go ahead?

I think Buzz goes from Florida to Minnesota or Wisconsin about this time of year and his participation is spotty. I could be wrong, my mind is mush.

Okay, Jean, that works for me. I'll get my menu together this weekend and post the recipes.

I believe IBcookin/Linda is on my birthday list for May 11, so maybe she would take the week after me if Chrismar doesn't check in soon.
