Exploring Africa

  Re: (...)
While browsing on the Cook Almost Anything at Least Once site, I encountered an interesting-sounding, North-African condiment called chermoula. That piqued my curiosity, as well as some memories of some Ugandan foods I had tried. They had been made by a Kenyan couple who were in the States for the husband to attend seminary, but I had never gotten any recipes from them. So, I Googled "Kenyan cuisine," and found a number of different things, eventually leading me to a site called the Congo Cookbook, which looked particularly insteresting. It has loads of information, including having things organised by region or country. Yet MORE things with which to experiment!
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?

Sounds like something to explore - will save the thread and go there one day soon. Don't dare right now...
Retired and having fun writing cookbooks, tasting wine and sharing recipes with all my friends.
