If any of you guys like thin crust pizza like they have in Europe and Latin america try using PITA BREAD for the crust.

Tried it yesterday, it was delicious.
My pizza was mushroom, onion, fresh tomatoes, feta, basil
His was pepperoni, onion tomato.

I bought pizza sauce from Trader Joe's

It was such an easy pizza to make and fast.

Piano, is that the pita bread posted on here somewhere with a link to Farmgirl's site and recipe? She baked them in the oven.

Yep. Been doing that for years. Love pita bread for just about anything.

One of my favourites is a take-off on a Philly Cheesesteak. I'm from the Philly area, and am usually a purist about cheesesteaks (hence, only Provolone, NOT American, etc.), but my one departure that I like to make at home is to cook the filling for the cheesesteak as usual, but also adding a healthy dose of Tabasco sauce (or Tabasco's chipotle sauce), then putting the whole thing into the pocket of some pita bread. YUM!
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?
