Rice Krispie Oven Fries - Daphne

  Re: (...)
This was in the middle of a long post, so will repost this. They are so good - I'd forgotten the egg wash on them also.

Sweet Potato Oven Fries

Sweet potatoes, cut into wedges
Rice krispies
garlic and onion powders
cayenne
a.p. flour
egg white mixed w/water
Parmesan

Combine cereal garlic & onion powders, and cayenne.
Dip the potato wedges in the flour, then the egg, then cereal mixture.

Bake 400 F. for 30-40 min. Sprinkle with parmesan. (I may add the Parmesan to the cereal mixture instead.)

Are the rice krispies left whole or crushed up???

Sounds interesting.

Thank you - I can do that! Ooooh those would be good with dinner tonight. Might have to send Bob to the store.

Got it....thanks bunches Jean! I think this would be a great accompaniment for the Caesar Burgers. You think a Caesar salad would be overkill? There's lettuce and mater on the sandwich.
