Sour Cream Tip

  Re: (...)
I read in the latest issue of C@H about weeping sour cream. Now, probably everyone knows this - but I didn't know this trick. So I tried it out on my most recent 3 lb container of sour cream. If you smooth the top of the sour cream after using some then it will not get those water puddles in it the next time you go to use it.

IT WORKED! Not a single drop of watery whatever weeping out. I have been steadily using up our containter (the kids love sour cream and ranch dip so we go through a lot) and everytime I smooth out the top. Amazing.

Hey, that's good to know Erin, I didn't see that. We go through a lot at work and it's always puddle-y.

Thanks for the tip!

It also works with cream cheese and some other things as well.
