Re: (...)
Okay my grand pooh bahs!!!! (or anyone else that can give advice on this!!!!)
I made a julienned zucchini side dish tonight to go along with a pork dinner and it was simple and awesome.
??? is if I were to make this for a crowd, what "gadget" would or do you use to julienne vegetables other than a knife? It seemed to take me a longer time to julienne than it did to saute them---there must be a simpler method??
This is a great side---I would love to have a better method to accomplish the end result. HELP PLEASE???

There is a simpler way. Do you have a mandoline? It should have a julienne blade on it. I bought a julienne blade for my Cuisinart too though I haven't tried it.

I second Billy's suggestion - most mandolines have a julienne blade.

Roxanne, I forget to take mine out too sometimes and it does such a great job. I need to put mine in a more prominent place so I remember it's there.

Wait until you reach my age Maryann and then your motto will be, "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!"
