I followed the recipe for Beer Braised Brisket using a Rump Roast and it was excellent. I drained the liquid from the veggies, added some flour to the veggies, cooked it for 2-3 minutes and then added the liquid back in. Served with mashed potatoes and the beef. Very tasty. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

That's exactly how I had to do it---no brisket but some nice rumps here

I was the lucky recipient of that meal. Utterley delicious. I wanted more, but couldn't get out of my chair. There is some beef left, and some gravy... ;Þ
