Re: (...)
This morning we did some grapefruit with our "broiler" the blow torch. I looked for but could not find the issue with the broiled grapefruit in it (so we improvised). Anyone remember where is that??

Issue 48, page 39
Broiled grapefruit
Makes 6 halves; Total time: 10 minutes
3 ruby grapefruit, halved
6 T. brown sugar
6 t. sweetened flaked coconut
Preheat broiler to high. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick spray
Top each grapefruit half with 1 T. brown sugar and 1 t. coconut; place on prepared baking sheet.
Broil 3 minutes, or until coconut is toasted. Watch carefully to prevent the coconut from burning.
I'm going to try this. We love grapefruit and it is quite prevalent in the market.
I noted the recipe it accompanied--breakfast strudel. Has anyone made this?? This may be a try as well---sooo many recipes I have overlooked--

Yes!! The struedel is better than the grapefruit--I reported on it some time ago. Great combo.
