I stand under correction here BUT---sometimes a person will log on to a forum and hype a product to the unknowing member. In this case it is the sauce --go to the site---BUT DON'T. If you do hit the site, you will be spammed forever with tons of ads--some not too appropriate with viruses and worms. Happened to me once--never again, I hope!!! Be careful, I hope I am wrong, but these crazies are always out there taking advantage of our friendly nature.

Anybody else have input here????

Well, two things bother me about it. First, ditto to what Roxanne said. Secondly, I have seen it posted on other sites. They post once, and never come back. I think what the poster is hoping for is that if anyone wants to make the recipe, they have to buy the sauce. It's a cheap plug for their website, IMHO.

The other thing that happens is they go up in the ratings on search engines. They will subscribe to boards and post one with a link, then when the search engines go look to see where they are crossed referenced they see all the links to and bump them up.

This person gets his google, yahoo search engine rankings by joining all the different boards and putting his link on them. Then more and more people click on the link thinking it's ok and he gets hit after hit after hit.

They need to remove his post and ban him. If they just ban him and leave this post (or leave it unedited) the link stays behind doing the work.
