I moved down here from Annapolis but my parents were from GA, TN and all the other relatives, too. I was called a 'Pilgrim' since I lived so far north. Only my family would think of MD as north.

My aunt lives in Wash. DC, my oldest daughter is going to college in Dubuque, IA! Guess she'll "be from the north" eventually. LOL

All of my family was from Missouri and Texas. We moved up to Oregon about 55 years ago, so I guess that makes me an Oregonian...since I get irritated when people say "Ore-gon" instead of "Ore-gun."
