Yellow Raspberries

  Re: (...)
Hi all. Has anyone ever experimented with yellow raspberries? I have enough this year to try a batch of jam, but wasn't sure how it would work? I think they are lower acid than regular raspberries? Maybe a syrup? I just don't know if their flavor would hold up.

Any thoughts?

They are just a sweet milder raspberry.

Never heard of yellow raspberries. I can't think of any reason why you couldn't do anything that you would do with the red ones---jam sounds great!! I would guess it is like any other berry----sweeten according to your taste-s'all. Curious to hear if I'm wrong---

Interesting - I've only used them as garnish. I haven't tried them in jams/jelly/conserves. Let us know how they work.

What a pretty sorbet the yellow berries would make...hmmmmm
