Panko

Can regular bread crumbs be substituted for Panko bread crumbs? I'm on hold making the chick. roulades until I know. My trusted Walmart neglects to carry panko. I haven't had the time to drive over to the east side of town to check Harps. Just wondering.

Sure you can, but it would also be better if you toasted them a little before rolling the roulades in them. Will help keep crisp. You could also use any kind of crackers.
