Also, I recommend using GIMP to compress photos. It's free, and it works locally on your computer, so you don't need to download and upload them to use it.

Also, keep in mind that, if you are already using Photobucket, you can just link to them instead of uploading them. If you do that, there are no size restrictions.

Eh, I've just increased the upload size limit to 5 MB. That should solve most issues. I might eventually automatically compress image uploads so as to avoid this issue.
