Between Maryann and my new employer/friend I have succumbed to the Instant Pot fever! So far, we absolutely LOVE it. You all knew I would . . . 
Our motivation was our dog. He's on a special kidney failure diet and I have to cook him sushi rice (!) for the base of his meals. Cooking it 1/2 cup at a time was a pain in the butt . . . I cooked about 4 weeks worth of rice for him in 7 minutes with very little mess (other than the pot). It's now in the freezer waiting for his next batch of food.
Of course we had to try it out on ourselves first with some fantastic chicken thighs (thank you for the hookup on the recipe Maryann). We are in mad love . . . it won't replace my Anovas, but it's a great addition.
