But, you don't have to make Ina's sauce in the Instant Pot. Her recipe calls for cooking in the oven so that it gets nice and browned. I can't wait to try this because I love when the sauce on a baked pasta gets all brown and carmelized..

That does sound good - I still make Pop's (from C2C) overnight stock. This reminds me of this sauce.

You know, I always thought his method was so solid, but I never tried it that way. Probably because I was working.

I got both of these books at the library, and ended up buying one for my kindle.
The Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook: 200 Fast and Foolproof Recipes for Every Brand of Electric Pressure Cooker by Barbara Schieving. Love it and will probably end up buying it. Instant Pot® Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook: Easy Recipes for Fast & Healthy Meals by Laurel Randolph. There were more recipes that I wanted to try in this one and the kindle price was cheaper, so bought this one first. For anyone still sitting on the fence about the IP, take the leap. Yes, there is a learning curve, but once you use the pot you realize just how easy it is and what a time saver.
