Re: (...)
Jean must still be feeling down.
I am making this dish that is so good. It's half asiany, half bbq'y.

That dish sounds so much better than the one I made yesterday, which was okay but not great.
We are going to a friend's birthday dinner tonight. No idea what is on the menu but since I can't go empty-handed, will be taking spinach bars for an appy and a bottle of Apothic.

That does sound good, Trixxee.
Have fun Maryann.
I think it's going to be either stromboli or pizza. Dunno yet.

I'm taking a page from Maryann - I rallied the energy to make a meatloaf and roasted potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower and I'm surprised I even enjoyed it.
Tracie has nagged enough that I'm going to the Dr. tomorrow a.m. - this thing I have will not give it up!

We're doing Asian as well (Sichuan Green Beans with Pork), but I'm copying Trixxee's recipe. It looks delicious (and better than what I have planned...sigh).
I hope you have a great time, Maryann!
Jean, I'm so glad you're going to the doctor. Hopefully you will begin to feel better!

Apothic? Isn't it a great wine?

That does sound good, Trixxee.
Hope you get good news from the doctor with meds to knock this thing out.
We had leftovers.

Yes, sure is. Maybe that's what you need to get rid of your cold/flu/virus.

still rereading.
Trixxee the chicken dish sounds so fresh and 'sprightly' (don't ask what I mean, this just popped in my head)
copied.
You're probably right, Maryann.
