What's on the menu for everyone today??
Today is one of my favorites in this regime -
Chicken, tomatoes, grapefruit
Chicken, tomatoes, cooked cabbage, celelry, vegetable soup, grapefruit. (for this one I always do a stir-fry just to change things up from cold veggies - draining the liquid from the soup and using for a sauce works well.) A little cooking fun today.
Retired and having fun writing cookbooks, tasting wine and sharing recipes with all my friends.

Chicken & vegetable soup and adding cheese tortellini instead of regular noodles. I should pass on any garlic bread but we'll see.

Everything sounds so good.
I'm following in Trixxee's footsteps, Grilled cheese sandwiches. Pesto and brie on French bread.

We're having the Bourbon Basted Pork tonight. I had tenderloins on hand, so that's what I'm using. I'll serve it with a farro pilaf and grilled asparagus. Yum!

I hope to make that next week Karyn.
I've added old fashioned chicken noodle soup to our dinner. It's from the Splendid Soups cook book.

Blane, it was really delicious and easy! I hope you enjoy it, too.

I have it down for tomorrow! Along with this side dish. Though I'll be using brown rice that you microwave for 3 minutes.
