What's on the menu for everyone today??
Jane's not up yet, but I think short ribs are included. She made the best Sour Cherry pie last night!

Well, I dusted off the Lodge with Bling Dutch Oven and I'm prepping for some Beef Bourguignon tonight!

Barbara, I have a Lodge dutch oven but not sure about the bling. Are you referring to the seasoning?
No cooking today. We are going to a birthday party for one of my friends from childhood. Her husband rented a hall and is having it catered by an Italian restaurant.

Maryann,
It's got a shiny Lodge knob on the lid. Thus, the "bling".

Still kind of up in the air but this might be turning into a secret santa day. Had waffles with huckleberry syrup from SS for breakfast and possibly this smoked salmon chowder, the smoked salmon another SS gift.

That chowder looks delicious.
Tonight is CA's office Christmas party. She's the event coordinator and put together a fun evening.

YUM! Love that menu!
Have fun, Maryann and Jean!
I've got Char Siu in the oven. I'll have plain rice with a simple stir fry on the side. The house smells AMAZING!!!!!!!
DANG IT! I burned the glaze! Had to guess on reserved marinade. I think I got it pretty close. GEEZE!

Not the best picture, but here is the sweet juicy charred goodness! I can't wait to have it in Chicken Chow Mien next week. OH MY! Thanks Karyn!

I will have to check that out. Mine just has a plain ol' handle.
Anxious to hear how your stew turned out.
