You must be so excited, Jean. Which direction are you going this time?
Cool and rainy again, so thinking I might make some soup and grilled cheese sammies.

I am in the mood for some grilled boneless terikayi'ish chicken thighs and I think I'll serve those over scallion pancakes (the ones from Trader Joe's, not the homemade C @ H ones), and sauteed napa cabbage on the side.
Came up with that on the fly in the middle of the night. Darn insomnia.
Finding yourself coming up with ideas like this in the middle of the night and then trying to get them out of your head so you can go back to sleep - darn near impossible.
We're going over to the Wenatchee area - kind of mid-state for 2 weeks, then head back west by way of the Columbia river and see kids and Houseboat Don. (wouldn't it be a hoot if we were called back to P.A. to sign papers..................................... )

Have fun Jean!
We're having Burgers with Date Ketchup. It's supposed to be a sliders recipe, but burgers are easier for lunch tomorrow. I've got the ketchup made, the onions caramelized, and the burgers formed, so dinner tonight should be easy!
Karyn, thaat just sounds wonderful!!!!

Beer Brats with salad and pasta salad on the side.
