When I get home from a field trip putting a pork roast I've been brining into the rotisserie

Will serve it with a medley of sautéed mushrooms and rice pilaf.

My stomach has been bothering me somewhat lately so I'm going to play it mild tonight and make chicken noodle soup with super fine noodles.

Nip it in the bud, Trixxee - I'm sure there are races this weekend.

You got that right, Jean. That's one of the many things I love about it - there is no season. It's year round.

One highlight this weekend - GAME ON DUDE made the trip from CA to WV to race in the $1.5M Charles Town Classic with you guessed it, Mike Smith aboard. Gosh I love this horse.

I finally found my inspiration for dinner today!

There was this beautiful, fresh round loaf of crusty sourdough bread in the store today, which made me think of Spinach Dip! While I was there picking up the ingredients to make Beef Stroganoff , which Blane made me think of.

Who can resist a good Beef Stroganoff? One of my hubby's favorites, mine to.

Actually Theresa's Chicken Noodle Soup would have been very satisfying too.

Heck it all sounds good!

That Stroganoff was so delicious! Trixxee, I hope the soup cures what ails you.

Tonight's dinner is chicken parmesan.

Thank you. I rarely have stomach issues and it's no fun. I start imagining all sorts of bad things. I guess I'll give it a week and if I don't feel better time to go to the doctor even though I DESPISE going to the doctor.

And yes, everything sounds good tonight, as usual!

We have a new BBQ place close to home that we have been wanting to try. So yesterday, I picked up some sliced smoked brisket and took it home to make sandwiches. We also had coleslaw and a baked potato.
