What's on the menu for today for everyone??
We'll be stopping at the Casino on the way home, per usual. Last 'eating out' bacon, cheese, onion burger for a few months!!
Last meal on the road was not a half-bad way to end it - we pigged out on leftover Clams, Calamari & fries...............
Tomorrow we start behaving ourselves - until Sunday.
Retired and having fun writing cookbooks, tasting wine and sharing recipes with all my friends.

I have some furniture being delivered between 3 and 7 so I'm just going to make tuna sandwiches on toast to keep things simple.

We have nasty weather moving in, so I'm making Chicken Noodle Soup with Turkey Wraps on the side!

A bit chilly here, 1° (real feel -6°) but it is a beautiful sunny day and we'll take that over gloomy weather. Ron stayed home today and we started an old-fashioned puzzle on the dining room table. I took out a container of beef barley soup from the freezer to have for dinner.

We are getting some much needed rain. Today was "cleaning day". We put a brisket in the smoker this AM so tonight is Macque Choux, and Cajun scalloped potatoes along with the brisket. MMMMMMMM

So glad you are almost home! Long trip. We are doing a couple of veal shanks, part of a larger purchase for a dinner party. Just want to be sure they are good for company.

Daphne, I hope the weather eases off before it comes to you. It arrived much earlier, and with much more precipitation than was forecast, so my drive home was incredible....8 1/2 miles in 3 1/2 hours.
They haven't closed my school for tomorrow yet, but the roads around here will be too icy for me to consider driving tomorrow before noon, so I have given myself the day off.
ETA: Dinner was mac & cheese, and the entire Atlanta area is closed tomorrow until noon...schools, day cares, businesses, everything!
