I have a list of items I want to prepare now that I am back home. But first, I am going to go to the post office and see if the new issue is here. If it is here, I will make something from that issue.

Otherwise, it will be one of these:

  • Molto Manicotti
  • Huevos Rancheros
  • Velveeta Tacos
  • Chile Rellenos
  • Steak and blue Cheese dinner
  • Grandma Behrendt's Tuna Casserole
  • Sauerbraten with Gingersnap Gravy, Spatzle, and Red Cabbage
  • Homemade Pizza!

I would eat Huevos Rancheros for any meal ! Tonight will be Coney Island Burgers, Mac and Cheese, green beans and a salad.
Practice safe lunch. Use a condiment.

No clue. Should be an interesting few days ahead. No cooking and no dishes! I won't know how to act! LOL!

I'm making the Asian sloppy joes from the new issue, but rather than the suggested Hawaiian rolls, am serving on a French roll or baguette (think bahn mi sandwich'ish). Looking forward to these as I love all the ingredients.

Daphne, have a wonderful time! Best wishes to all!!

Trixxee, those sound so good! I can't wait to get my issue.

We're having Cheddar Jalapeno Chicken Burgers with Guacamole. Since it's really cold, windy, and rainy, I'm not sure why I decided this was a good night to grill, but I did, and these burgers really sound good to me.

I froze the leftovers. So I think tonight I'll do the fish I was going to do last week with some steamed broccoli & cauliflower - or fry the fish and roast broccoli, cauliflower, and brussles sprouts. Hmmmmm.

We still have pork left over from yesterday's dinner. So, I'm making a quick version of winter pork stew. I've done this before and if you put small chunks into the stew at the last minute just to warm it through, it works out fine. Leftover potato rolls to go with.

Well, wouldn't ya know...

I got my issue from the post office today [Exclusive Members Edition] and within the pages was a recipe for Crockpot Sauerbraten and Gingersnap Sauce! So that is what I am making. I will go with spatzle instead of the mashed potatoes & parsnips.
