I have been busy taking some cooking classes.

Had some wonderful appys I want to post.

Is it time yet to start a 2014holiday party post?
Everything will be all right in the end. So if it is not right, then it's not yet the end.

Great idea to plan ahead now. All too often we start SO close to a holiday (or other special occasion) that we probably miss out on some ideas we could have done had we had more time to plan for them.

If I can get all of the ingredients, I'm going to try something, very soon, that COULD be a neat idea for New Years (or the like). I'll say more about it once I've done it (or have exhausted all possible sources for the most-important ingredient).
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?

Mushroom /bacon. Pastries.

1pkg. Puff pastry.
1small log. Goat cheese. Chèvre
8oz. Cream cheese soft.
4 tab. Fresh herbs. -fine mince. --parsley. Rosemary thyme. Chives.

6 slices smoky bacon chopped.
1 large. Onion sliced.
3--4 cups sliced mushrooms any kind
2tsp dried porcini powder optional
Salt. / pepper.

Thraw pastry sheets. And. Roll out 1inch in all direction
Fold edges 1/4 in to form rim. And refergerate
Fry bacon to near crisp. Add onion slices and cook to brown slightly.
Add mushrooms and stir to release steam. C
Cook to nearly dry
Add porcini powder salt pepper
Set a side and cool slightly.

Blend cream cheese goat cheese herbs and spread on prepped chilled pastry sheets
Sprinkle on bacon mushrooms. Mixture
Bake. 425 10-12 minutes.
To puffy golden bubbly.

Serve with
Tomato basil bruschetta
Herbed aioli.

Hints.
2sheetsfit on rimmed cookie sheets
Prick pastry with fork
Can sprinkle parsman cheese
