but considering how many of us here love our vino, it fits right in! From my local news station, here are some fun facts about wine consumption.
All amounts are gallons consumed per capita.
#1 is D.C. with 8.8 gal per capita. #51 is W. Va with only .9. Those poor deprived folk.
#3 is NH with 7.1. I try to do my part.
#9 is CA, 4.9.
#13 is WA with 4.4. Jean, I see you're also doing your part.
#15 is OR with 4.3.
#31 is TX. 2.4. Bill, you must try harder.
#33 is OH at 2.3.
#47 is IA with 1.5.
Still looking for the article online so I can see if Daphne and some others are meeting expectations
Found it-
NC is #27 with 3.0. Better than Bill but not as good as Me and Jean!
SC and PA are tied for #36 and #37 with 2.1.
NY is #17 with 4.1.
GA is #35 with 2.2.
Idaho is #2 with 7.2. ????Apparently, there's a lot of wine being served with those russet potatoes.
