I'll post it for you in a bit. Have to type it up first.

Okay, here you go:

* Exported from MasterCook *

Japanese Shrimp & Noodle Salad with miso vinaigrette

1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup white miso paste
3 T. low sodium soy sauce
1 T. brown sugar
2 teaspoons fresh ginger -- peeled and grated
1 teaspoon garlic -- grated
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 pound medium shrimp -- peeled and deveined
4 ounces dry soba or udon noodles
1 1/2 cups snow peas -- trimmed and halved crosswise
1 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper -- halved crosswise
1 cup cucumber -- seeded and thinly sliced
1/2 cup radishes -- thinly sliced
1/2 cup scallions -- thinly sliced

For the vinaigrette, combine vinegar, oil, miso, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and wasabi; season with salt and black pepper. Reserve two-thirds of the vinaigrette, pour remaining in a shallow baking dish.

For the salad, toss shrimp in vinaigrette in baking dish, let marinate 30 minutes.

Cook noodles in a pot of boiling salted water according to package directions; drain. Rinse noodles under cold water and transfer to a large bowl.

Add snow peas, bell pepper, cucumber, and radishes.

Grill shrimp in a grill pan, coated with nonstick spray, over medium high heat until pink, opaque, and beginning to curl, 2-3 minutes. Add shrimp to salad; toss with half of reserved vinaigrette. Garnish salad with scallions and serve remaining vinaigrette on the side.
Serves 4

Got some white miso paste and Soba noodles at the Whole Foods in OH. Shrimp is defrosting, so it's on for tonite!

Okey dokey, here's the review. This was a nice meal, not outstanding but pleasant. If I can figure out a way to add more heat, like maybe lots more wasabi, that could bring it up a point or two. Looks very colorful, might make a good addition to an Asian style buffet. We gave it a 7

I was thinking the same thing when typing it up, Cis. It needs some heat. And we can't stand Soba noodles, so I'll have to be making this with Chinese flat noodles.
