I would be VERY excited about a trailer trip! Not sure I'm ready to be on the road as long as you're thinking of, but maybe a month at a time...

I'm very excited about an upcoming trip to Port Angeles! Wheeeee!

We made a little day trip yesterday - to Ritzville, WA. We went to the Mennonite Country Auction. It was great fun, grilled German sausage & kraut sandwich followed by a glass of freshly pressed cider. (I wish we'd bought a gallon)

We came home with a few goodies.

Stone ground coarse cornmeal & stone ground coarse whole wheat flour, and a nice little jar of freshly made apple butter.

This is a huge old copper pot over a woodfire - it takes 2 men to keep stirring and scraping down the pot.

Pressing the cider.

Ooops - sorry Jean, I hijacked your thread!

Me too!!! It is a silly dream I have to have enough money to buy a motorhome, put the kids in online school, and see the United States! Boy would that be something.

That was our original thought - but we seem to be anchored here for another year at least. Then I'm ready to wander a bit.

I have a wooden paddle like the one in your picture, Sharon. It's a beautiful piece.

Sounds like a fun day!

It was fun. Now I'm cruising for a killer cornbread recipe to go with my flour.
