Wow. I think we're having this tonight. Just need to run to the store for the pork and some fresh rolls.

Oh my heavens! I started drooling immediately! I am so making this! Trixxee, if you make it tonight, would you post the results? I have several covered dish meals in the near future, and this would be PERFECT! Especially for the one that has to travel an hour right after church!

Daphne - it was fantastic. 10 out of 10 on a fresh roll thrown under the broiler with a little butter and topped with coleslaw.
It would be good any kind of bun. I think your peeps would love it!
Thanks, Trixxee! I couldn't imagine it not being good from the pictures! I think that's the dish I'll use for the family reunion next weekend! That's the covered dish that needs to travel the farthest next weekend. I'll cut the rolls small since there's usually so much food. Thanks again!

Most welcome! One teeny tiny change I made was when I transferred the liquid/sauce to a pan to add a corn starch slurry to, I actually cooked that liquid down for 15-20 minutes and then added the corn starch. I wanted a concentrated sauce flavor. I still am thinking about this sandwich!
Noted, Trixxee! Thanks, again! I can't wait!

What's not to love about that recipe? Sounds phenomenal.
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?
Ha Labs - when I posted a picture of the the final sandwich I nicknamed it "The Phenom" because it was so phenomenal.
That looks really good!
I've got a lovely hunk of pork in the freezer! Hmmmmm.
You only live once . . . but if you do it right once should be enough!
