What's on the menu for today??
Since I have dedicated the next few weeks to shedding some pounds - not going to Hawaii; just need to do it - I'm doing my b'day dinner today. Haven't posted it yet; will wait until after Maryann's review date.
I'll do hers tomorrow and then come Tuesday, it's crunch time!!!

We're going to be really bad and fry something. I never fry anything. Tony picked up some rockcod at Costco and we are going to make fish tacos. We've used this buttermilk batter recipe before and it was really good.

Heather and James invited us over for dinner, so we'll go there. Not sure what she's having. Might pick up something at the store to take with us. Don't have much in the house yet.

I'm not sure yet. I need to come up with something interesting. Jody said he got the steaks, which were ridiculously large, because he was tired of hot dogs, hamburgers and spaghetti....LOL! He was half joking, but it's true.

I'm doing the Tomato Soup with Pasta from the Meals for Two book. It's cool and nasty here, so I thought that and a grilled ham and cheese would be perfect. And it's a far cry from hot dogs, hamburgers and spaghetti! Maybe not fancy, but it's going to be good!

I was just thinking the same thing. Do you really have to wait to post the recipes?
