That's quite a menu, Jean! Inviting the whole neighborhood?

I must have missed something here. If it's after the 4th, then when is it?

Everybody disappears over the 4th - so we've changed our 4th of July party to the following Saturday....the 9th. Neighborhood, family, C@H buddies.....

Happy anniversary, Jeannette! We're 23 years behind you on the 3rd. Not sure what we'll eat on the 4th, we are planning on going to Baltimore after we finish brunch on the 3rd. Can only imagine what the Beltway around DC will be like late afternoon.
Practice safe lunch. Use a condiment.

Happy Anniversary Jeannette - Sounds like so much fun - Friends and Family
will make for a wonderful day.

Jean - wow what a menu - can't wait to come!!!!
Everything will be all right in the end. So if it is not right, then it's not yet the end.

Jean, how long do you think it will take to smoke the rib roast and to what temp? It sounds tempting...

Here we are at the 4th - and when the weather is wonderful in the Pacific Northwest, you can't beat it!! Today is one of theose days. Absolutely gorgeous!!

I want to try some 'bacon jam' this morning to go with the 'after the 4th' sliders, so will try it on our hamburgers today. I made some pickled onions also for another condiment and will see how those are with part of the burger.

So, nothing fancy, but a good homecooked burger is sure hard to beat. Might pick up a watermelon.
