I have not kept up with you all lately--unbelievable week!!! My office, (including me) is five folks. My agent Doris put her mother (85 years) in the hospital Monday on death watch. She passed away yesterday AM. Another agent, Lisa, called me Tuesday at 7:00AM in tears. Her niece (husbands sister's daughter--16 years) shot herself in the stomach with a shotgun that morning. She died almost instantly. Such a horrible experience for all--we baked two hams, made mac and cheese, and a Waldorph salad and took to each family (Jane did) and we have been trying to help folks cope. We have kept the office open and tried to be there for all.
Doris' mother lived a full life--her passing was more of a celebration, the young lady is such a tragedy--hard to handle--so pretty and so much to live for. We have to watch and communicate with our younger generation--they deal with so much more than we did--much due to instant communication and the need for instant gratification. Keep all my people in your prayers--services are Saturday and Sunday (an autopsy was required in the suicide, so services were delayed). Be back next week.
