I think it was Trixxee (?) who mentioned the Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad the other day. It looked so good, I knew I had to make it soon. So that's what's for dinner tonight!

Which recipe are you making, Blane?
I just pickled 2 batches (4 each batch)'jalapeƱos - 1 the recipe I've made before and the other a new mix using rice vinegar with a little sugar. The old one is half water/cider vinegar.
Daphne, have you thought about making beef bacon for William?

Tonight - the celebration continues . . . Corn Timbalea with anasazi beans & grilled pork chops. (this will depend on whether or not I can find the ramekins in the "basement"). Otherwise it will be some kind of "casserole" with fresh grilled corn, grilled peppers, etc. that can be baked!
You only live once . . . but if you do it right once should be enough!
