Going thru old files/recipes on my MasterCook and ran across this one. Thought you ought to have it - Paulie is an old friend who worked the fundraisers with us -

OLD BAY WALNUTS - C2C/PAULIE
04/23/05
This is something I did for the last C2C fundraiser...

Old Bay Walnuts

1/2 pound walnut halves
1 egg white, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons Old Bay Seafood seasoning, ground
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon kosher salt

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Toss the walnuts, egg white, Old Bay Seasoning, brown sugar and kosher salt together in a bowl until the walnuts are completely coated.

Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Try to separate the walnuts so that they don't stick together.

Bake for 8 to 12 minutes until the walnuts have browned. Shake the baking sheet halfway to ensure they don't burn.

Remove from baking sheet and cool.

Thanks so much--they look great ( they should, of course!!). We'll try them this season! By the way, I've been immortalized as a nut before, but I've always been very self secure.
