I had planned to use the whisk attachment. Doing it by hand worked, just a little chunky.

chunky as with the shallots and herbs??? I can't think what would be chunky.... but, it was tasty, huh? good.

Years ago, I used to do it by hand. Now I use the Cuisinart. Glad it turned out!

Sadly, it separated in the process of trying to keep it warm. shucks! I have had the worst luck. William told me I need to give up...LOL!

Never give up! I keep mine warm in a container over barely simmering water. I even refrigerate the leftovers and heat it up the same way. I've never had a problem with it separating.

I stupidly had my water too warm. By the time I realized, it was too late. Working in an unfamiliar kitchen is a pain!
