Look came by this a.m. just as we were sitting down to breakfast - a submarine!!
and while the camera was out - Fried Catfish and oven-roasted tatoes and onions - favorite breakfast!!
Can you tell we're havin' a good time!

Not sure where you two are Jean, but we used to see subs ay my brothers on Vancouver Island. Neat things. Breakfast looks tasty too, puts my cereal to shame. give me a few months tho....

Where was I? That looks so good!! Also, Janes son, Eric was on a nuclear sub for 6 years before finishing his ME degree. He said when they set sail there was food everywhere--under walkways, in overheads, as well as fresh. As the trip wore on there was more and more room on the sub, and less fresh stuff to eat. The best part of a 6 mos trip culinarily is the first part, or if you get to dock at a port, it gets better again.
