baking frozen fruit crips

how to bake a frozen fruit crisp?

When I bake a  frozen fruit pie, I put the frozen pie in a pre-heated oven and bake as I would a pie that had not been frozen.  Would the same approach work for a fruit crisp?

Hi Chops and welcome to the forum! Sorry, I don't really know the answer because I've never baked a frozen crisp, but it seems like it should bake the same as a pie.

Sit tight and maybe someone else will be able to give you a better answer.

I have not done this either, but I would think as you need to add time to baking a frozen pie, you probably should add the same amount of time for a frozen crisp?
You might try these instructions - adapting for a crisp instead of a pe.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Bake for 10 minutes then turn the oven down to 375 degrees F and bake until light golden brown, about 1 hour.

Please let us know if this works.
