What's on the menu for everyone today??
Travel day to Kansas City/Independence, MO today!! I have half a dish of the 'bread' pudding left for a quick meal when we get settled.
Therese (Catanach) - passed on some good stops for us in the area. Wish she was still there!!

I have a couple of very thick pork chops that I'll probably stuff and roast.

Today is National Cheeseburger Day so I think we're having burgers but bunless. Butter lettuce salad and corn on the cob with it.
I was having a craving for sweet and sour chicken but that got shot down.

It's a mac n' cheese kind of day here, rain and cool. Maybe I can make a cheeseburger mac n' cheese to celebrate cheeseburger day?

Jean, your leftovers are amazing, in fact, you could write a cookbook about them.

Oh Blane! You sly devil! A cookbook indeed! LOL!
We had turkey sausage and rice with black eyed peas. Comfort food is the theme lately. I've not been feeling very adventurous lately. I guess the pressure of school is more stressing than I expected. I even look for ideas and nothing sounds better than the old family favorites.
