What's on the menu today??
Travel day to Yuma, so we'll just have sandwiches along the way.

We're going to Cocina de Autor, it's kind of like the Chefs table at Café de Artistes. Really amazing food.

I spent way too much time making mole sauce this morning. It's delicious and I have sauce for several meals. Tonight dinner will be turkey mole enchiladas.

I'm eating light, a bowl of steamed broccoli and some white turkey meat. Derek is doing the whole dinner over

I have gained way too much weight this year. Darn my metabolism! So rude of it to slow down as I retire, now is when I need it to kick into high gear!

It do happen!! Good luck. (and then there is string bean Derek who probably hasn't gained an ounce in 30 years!) Not fair, is it.

No one believes that I cook. Bob looks like he's starving too.
I had some left over french fries that I crisped up in the oven and made a "poutine" with brown gravy, mushrooms, big chunks of pork simmered in the gravy and topped with mozz. It wasn't too bad for being tired and not getting off work until 8.
