The only change that I made was to use a tomato/basil flavored tortilla.
Everything else was per the recipe. Can we rate a recipe higher then a 10?
Edited to add: In my excitement, I forgot to say that this recipe is from the latest issue.

I hope you all do give this a shot. I should note that these are Mondo sized (huge), I think next time that I make these I'll use an 8" tortilla. I also should note that I marinaded the meat in a zip lock bag for 5 hours, turning often.

Looks and sounds delicious. There's nothing quite like good carne asada. I don't eat a lot of beef, but I enjoy carne asada much more than any steakhouse steak.
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?
