Are you looking for one to go on the burner or just one you can use inside?????
My ex gave us a little George Forman grill and I absolutely loved it - fast, good grill marks, the fat drained away. Whether it was sausage patties, steaks, burgers, chicken, whatever - it worked!
If you want one to use on the burner I'd go with a cast iron, very heavy and heat retaining - but then that's just MHO.
You only live once . . . but if you do it right once should be enough!

We love our Viking--reasonably easy to clean--high btu--we have a 4 burner stovetop with a grill in the middle. We do have a great vent and it is really necessary.
