Corn in a pasta salad? - esgunn - 06-26-2009

I make a summer vegtable salad that has cucumber, tomatoes, snap peas, red peppers, carrots, and corn - with blue cheese crumbles and an italian dressing. I have to take this to a pionic and thought I might beef it up/extend it with some pasta. Is it weird to have corn in a pasta salad?

I was originally thinking spirals or farafell, but thought maybe orzo would go better with the corn. Any thoughts?

Orzo with just about anything is a marriage made in Heaven!! (For a salad) (Maybe not tofu?!?!)

Ok - Thanks! I think I will use the orzo this time. May try another time with spirals or something larger.

For some reason, bow tie seems a better option...

How did it turn out?

The salad was great. Used the Orzo. It was a big hit.
