New Forum Members - Brian - 04-14-2009

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you all know that we have made a change to the forum that will hopefully curb the amount of spam that we are seeing.

Starting today, any new members to the forum have to be approved by me. This means that new members can't post or reply until I approve them. Of course, there is no guarantee that we'll catch all of the spammers, but hopefully it will help.

Hopefully this change - along with the addition of Jean as a moderator - will continue to improve the quality of the content here on our beloved forums.

As always, feedback is welcome.

Thanks!

Brian

I guess it is worth a try. Hopefully you will be quicker to accept new members than some of the other forums I have tried to join. It can be frustrating.
Thanks for all of your effort Brian.

Thanks Brian. Like the others said. Every little bit helps.

Brian - thanx for trying something to curb the spam. Hope your plan works out and isn't too much for you to keep up with.

Hurray and THANK YOU!

Re: New Forum Members - coco hernandez - 04-14-2009

Thanks, Brian. As others have said, hopefully it will curb span and the porno that I saw yesterday. I would rather make it more difficult for new members to join than to see porno!

What happened to my photo??????????

Re: New Forum Members - bjcotton - 04-14-2009

I think the Grinch ate it Coco. Sometimes if you move a picture or do something with it on Photobucket it will break the link and you have to redo it.
