I got Celebrate the Rain cookbook a couple days ago and it's a great one! I'm so glad you mentioned it.
I made the Crispy Pecan Waffles and what a wonderful flavor.
Altho, I've never added cornstarch to a waffle batter...if I knew more about baking/pastry I would probably know why they added it, but I don't, so I can't. It's just very good.
Next? If the weather turns a little cooler it's going to be the Caramelized Onion Lasagna w/pancetta. yum!
I ordered the other one you mentioned also...hasn't come yet.

You're so welcome! Glad you are enjoying it. I had my eyes on that lasagna too, as well as the chicken cacciatore lasagna.
Keep us posted on any recipes you try and I will do the same.
I did make the corn cakes w/bacon and scallions and they were very good.

I blew my cookbook money for a couple of months. I got me a large, heavy mortar and pestle...more stuff!
