Private Messages - Mare749 - 12-30-2007 For those of us who like to use the PM feature, we all need to erase our messages once in a while. I don't know how many we get to keep, but if the box is full, the sender is denied. So, thank you Labs, for the link you sent me. Maryann Re: Private Messages - cjs - 12-30-2007 I'm bad at remembering to do this... I'm off to clean!! Re: Private Messages - labradors - 12-30-2007 Oops! Sorry. I usually clear them more regularly, but had recently helped someone with a computer problem, and had hung onto those messages for a while in case any other problems arose. It has been long enough, now, that they won't matter any more, so I have done my housecleaning. Thanks for the reminder. Re: Private Messages - bjcotton - 12-30-2007 If I want to keep a PM, I print it out and delete it immediately. Otherwise I forget to delete them. Re: Private Messages - labradors - 12-30-2007 Quote: In my case, I wanted to keep them in case the problem had come back and I had to send them again, instead of having to type them in again. Sure, I could copy/paste them from another document, but I got lazy. |
