RE: Cast Iron, Fryer or Skillet? - Grillseeker - 06-04-2018 Really depends, I'm more of a cast iron kind of guy unless of course I'm outside at the grill. RE: Cast Iron, Fryer or Skillet? - Harborwitch - 06-05-2018 Hi Grillseeker! Welcome to C@H forums! I hope you'll visit often and share your knowledge, ask your questions and have some fun with us! I love my cast iron for so many things, searing a beautiful sous vide steak, potatoes, cornbread, and many other things! Of course our deep fryer has it's uses and we love our wok/skillet on the induction burner. There are many tools in the kitchen and each has it's place. RE: Cast Iron, Fryer or Skillet? - Mare749 - 06-07-2018 Still love my cast iron and use it regularly. Most of mine is over 40 years old and well seasoned, but I did buy a round griddle a few years ago when Jean suggested it and that gets used a lot. |
