Lorraine - vannin - 09-15-2006 Hi there Lorraine. My son Campbell is being seconded to your part of the world for four months from January. I think he is going to find it mighty cold. Re: Lorraine - farnfam - 09-15-2006 Dale, That means he won't be far from where I live either Re: Lorraine - bjcotton - 09-15-2006 He's not going until after I leave is he? I don't want to miss out on a second with my Southern Family! Re: Lorraine - Half_Baked - 09-15-2006 I thought I was your Southern family....oh, you mean Southern Hemisphere family. Re: Lorraine - Bizymomma - 09-15-2006 HB, I bet our accents are close!!! LOL Re: Lorraine - Half_Baked - 09-15-2006 I just told BJ that my family calls me JANice Kaaaaay. Yep, I bet we sound about the same. Re: Lorraine - Bizymomma - 09-15-2006 LOL...are you from there? I'm an Arki native! Re: Lorraine - Half_Baked - 09-15-2006 I moved down here from Annapolis but my parents were from GA, TN and all the other relatives, too. I was called a 'Pilgrim' since I lived so far north. Only my family would think of MD as north. Re: Lorraine - Bizymomma - 09-15-2006 My aunt lives in Wash. DC, my oldest daughter is going to college in Dubuque, IA! Guess she'll "be from the north" eventually. LOL Re: Lorraine - bjcotton - 09-16-2006 All of my family was from Missouri and Texas. We moved up to Oregon about 55 years ago, so I guess that makes me an Oregonian...since I get irritated when people say "Ore-gon" instead of "Ore-gun." |
