Coming Out Of Retirement!! - cjs - 08-10-2006
After the Scholarship Fundraiser Dinner I'll be working on in Windsor, Colorado next week, we'll be going on to Portland where a friend has asked me to do a buffet for him. A few days of business meetings and he wants to entertain them one evening. He lives on a houseboat (excuse me, they are now called floating homes...) so not much seating. It will be all buffet/easy eating goodies.
My Menu -
Assorted Cheese Tray - with grapes, Honeycomb, Chutney
Garlic Roasted Shrimp Cocktails - served as shooters
Crostini - roasted red bells, basil, parm
Crab Deviled Eggs
Tortilla Wraps (2) - Roast Beef, Spinach & Provolone and Poblano, Cream Cheese Siestas
Sausage & Cream Cheese Mushrooms
Antipasto Tortellini Salad
Caesar Salad
Thank God, no desserts! (I dislike baking/pastry) He wants them to go home early.
So, I'll be getting my hand back in catering again and having fun for the next two weeks.

Won't do you any good Angela, she won't post her recipes until she's good and ready. Especially if they are new. Doncha just know I'd drive the 7 hours to her house so she could try them on me
