I'm going to roast a chicken in the oven, make a pan gravy with the drippings and serve over mashed potatoes.

We had grilled Italian sausage with grilled peppers and onions on a sub roll. Cucumber salad to go with.

I had grand plans . . . SQUIRREL! . . .
distracted by Lingonberries and huckleberries growing not 50 steps from our front door 
! We had cheese omelets and toasted fresh sourdough bread from a local bakery!
